Salute and Goodbye...

Last Sunday morning, got a sms from boss saying that a biz associate just passed away from dengue the night before...

Pretty shocked to hear that a young promising 26 yrs old who owned a adventure sports company would lose his dear life to a aedes mosquito in desuru.

Knew him briefly when handling a project during Jan this year, he came across to me as a easy-going, happy-go-lucky and one who took challenges at his stride person. You just cant help to feel "like smiling" when you see him stepped into our office coz of his roly poly figure (quite opposite from what you would imagine for someone who love adventure sports)

Saw the newspaper article on him yesterday...yet another shock from me coz I didnt realised how colourful he had led his life for the last 26 yrs..

He survived 2 fatal accidents a few yrs ago (1 is a mountain climbing, another one car accident) had a soft spot for animals, children and the elderly, gave tuition regularly at a Catholic orphanage.

The eulogies delivered were indeed very touching (boss attend the wake on behalf of the coy), his life was very beautifully led.....

He has touched the lifes of many many people from all walks of life...his family memebers would missed the laughters and smiles..orphans at the orphanage would missed a brotherly figure....his friends/colleages/etc would missed his enuthasiam in outdoor adventures...the list would go on...

"He who led his life to the fullest and so beautifully...truely understood and enjoyed his life thoughout his 26 yrs of life..."

I'm so ashame to say I not anywhere near how he had led his life so fully and so beautifully...what were you doing when you were 26?

I salute him...wish I could have a chance to know this friend better..he definitely has lots to share with lot of us...

Goodbye friend...a gentle giant :)

Hey People! (a loud call to anyone who might be reading this!!)


Its been ages since I last post something...hmm..too busy lah? too lazy lah? Both I would say..:)

Since today is 7o7o7, decided to post something to mark this remarkable day...

Today was an eventful day...attended a friend's church wedding...felt the so "xin fu" (blissful) look on the wedding couple..wish them a fulfulling marriage life as one!

After the church wedding...rushed down to one fullerton for the LIVE EARTH event...*phew..* had a panic attack early morning due to the banner printing stuff...gald everything was up and ready when I reached at around 4pm..

Was happy with all the artworks I turned up nice and proper...lamp post banners, stage backdrop, pledge board, pledge card and etc...eh...at least a hundred or more people would have my artwork inside their wallets by now! ;D coz they were supposed to keep one portion of pledge card to constantly remind themselves to save the earth in their own little ways! Heh heh...how many people actually get the chance to have their artwork kept in other people's wallet even thou it might be only for awhile...I m still happy!!!

I thanked everyone who made me come this far...I guessed I wouldnt come this far if I am not given the chance perform as a sole graphic artist in my coy...

Constant encourage from colleagues was a morale booster....thank you guys!

Gald that I moved on from my previous hmmm...kinda sad note episode..at least I know I can shine on my own too!

Just hope that this event we are able to have some profits coming in....sigh.....its never easy to earn profit for big events...

Okie before I end the post...for those of you who happened to see this...can pop by one fullerton tomorrow 8 July to sign and make a pledge at the pledge board (go early to book a space for your signature..coz spaces are running out fast!!! *sound like an advertisment*) and the pledge card...to give your support to me....heh...no its to MOTHER NATURE!
