It's been 13 days....

Hi Ah Tok...

It's been 13 days since u left us...how are you getting on there? Getting used to new environment? Time flies dont you think so?

Time may mend the pain...but time dont wash away the wonderful memories we have....may your family and friends find the strength and courage to move on days without you....

Your unique laughter still rings in my ears every now and then when I think of you......

It was too surreal...I really thought it was a dream till today....I just couldnt picture you leaving us for your new home...

Dont know if I was silly or perhaps I thought it would probably make me feel better? On the morning which was scheduled to be your new journey to your new home...I purposely took a another bus (I didnt take the usual bus which takes me a shorter to reach office) which I knew would pass by the place of your wake...chose a window seat with no obstruction...

When my bus passed by the place of your wake...I said a silent prayer in my heart and prayed that you are in safe hands of god now and forgive me for not being able to turn up to send you on your new journey to your new home...

I shall learn to upkeep your positive attitude in life...your brave spirit.....the sms you sent some time back with regards to the new name you adopt...dont y...at that point of time when I recieved that sms from you I could feel the strong positiveness in you...therefore I decide to keep that sms that time as something motivational and inspirational coz its from a friend who been through pretty much then...now it shall serve as an constant reminder to me...to try my best to stay positive at all times especially when meet with difficulties....

Goodbye my dear friend...you left us for a better place...in good hands of god..I m sure of that..you will be our angel looking after us now...I would missed your unique laughters...chirpyness...your sweet smile...

I finally broke down when I was flipping through those good old days photos we took after our "O" levels when you, CL, XW, PL, XW and me..went to Sentosa one late evening..did crazy thing like folding our pants, took off our shoe and jumped into the fountain with knee height water level and took pics..end up got scolding from security guard who saw what we did as he warn that we could easily get elecuted! All we did were..."heh heh...uncle sorry ah..." quickly packed up and left for the merlion tower....took countless pics there too...

Not forgetting those countless trips to orchard...for whatsoever reasons...we could spend the entire day there...from morning till night ...laughing...talking...giggling...shopping...

Those Were The Days....we were then the innocent...with mindset of "we owned the world...with a long stretch a road ahead of us" youngsters...but as we grew older...we realised we dont owned the world...neither do we own time...we never know when will we drive to the end of the road...you found a "parking lot" with god first....not to worry...for we will find you one day in the "multi-storeys carpark" too...

Ah Tok...I truely....felt really very bad and sorry...I couldnt meet up with you guys all these while...I couldnt walk you thru your last journey....will be a regret for me forever....sorry my dear friend...

The memories of "THOSE GOOD OLD DAYS" we had in our 10 years plus friendship always remained in our hearts.....
